الحفارات من سلسلة B من شركة Altec هي من الأدوات الأساسية في أعمال مزودي الطاقة الكهربائية والاتصالات. فالحفارات من سلسلة B تحتوي على مضخة مكبس ذات الإزاحة المتغيرة بمعدل تدفق يصل إلى 43 غالون في الدقيقة، وهي تعمل على تقليل الحرارة الهيدروليكية المتولدة واستهلاك الوقود وتآكل الشاسيه. كما تتكامل أجهزة التحكم عن بُعد اللاسلكية الاختيارية مباشرة مع نظام التحكم، بعكس الحفارات الهيدروليكية بالكامل، وتأتي مع مؤشر الحماية من الحِمل الهيدروليكي الزائد. وتساعد المزايا والخيارات الإضافية، مثل السرعة القياسية والمنخفضة لوظيفة الوحدة، والحماية الإلكترونية للحِمل الجانبي الاختيارية مع جهاز قياس الحِمل ومفتاح عوامة RotaFloat®، على توفير الحماية والإنتاجية في موقع العمل.
