Altec Expands Service Network, Opens New Service Center in Hammond, Louisiana

Hammond, La., June 17, 2026 – As part of its commitment to provide comprehensive service to customers, Altec is proud to broaden its nationwide service network with the new North New Orleans Altec Service Center in Hammond, Louisiana. The center is now open and located on 19326 Hipark Blvd., in the industrial park off Interstate 12 at Exit 42 to Airport Road.

The North New Orleans Service Center offers shop and mobile service for New Orleans, Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. Services include mechanical repairs, inspections, custom modification add-ons for equipment, painting, welding and more.

“We’ve been honored to serve customers in this region with our mobile team for many years,” said Altec’s General Manager of Service Operations Chris Katz. “We’re excited to invest in a physical location north of New Orleans to make even more resources available that will help keep our customers’ equipment running for years to come.”

As part of its grand opening, the North New Orleans Service Center hosted a Crawfish Boil Open House event in late April. Customers attending were able to tour the facility, demo new equipment and meet the technicians.
